This blog is a collection of occasional short screencasts showing demonstrations of software and services that I have found useful in my day-to-day work. The motivation stems from a series of Show-n-Tell seminars I presented in the then Faculty of Information Technology at Bond University. Each seminar strove to be three short demos of software that I and other staff members found to be effective, and they could offer comments from personal experience.
This blog should afford a better medium for the demonstations as usually the software being presented must be installed with admin permission and ofter requires an unfettered Internet connection. These conditions are sometimes difficult to achieve in a room where a live seminar is held.
Comments on additional personal experiences with the software are welcomed.
